In a buyers market with an abundance of homes available for sale, Todd can sell homes! After three realtors and a downward adjusted market I listed my property with Todd from ReMax after he provided suggestions on what needed to be done to make it marketable. I listened to Todd’s suggestions, made the improvements, and Todd did what he was contracted to do….sell the property. What other realtors were unable to accomplish in six months, Todd accomplished in less than two months.
Todd was highly recommended to me by a co-worker two years ago. I regret that I did not listen and fumbled around with other realtors before signing with Todd. My name is Frank and my wife Traci and daughter Alex decided that we wanted to build our dream home. Finding the dream home was the easy part. The hard part was selling our existing home. We, like most people looking to sell a home, interviewed a couple of agents and were not impressed at all, until we interviewed Todd Akes. Todd appeared to be energetic, friendly, honest, and hard working. We decided to go with Todd. Unfortunately, the builder of our new home convinced us to go with the "expert" agent that they work with. That turned out to be the biggest mistake we made. After four months on the market, we received no offers. With the help of the builder, we were able to convince the original agent to give us an unconditional release from the contract and contacted Todd to see if he was still interested in selling our house. We signed the contract with Todd on a Monday evening. The sign was up in the front yard, the lockbox on the front door, and the house was listed in the MLS with numerous color photos the following morning. Todd also created a virtual tour to includeon his web site and scheduled an add for print in the newspaper and magazines.Fortunately for us, we did not have to wait for the print adds. Todd, through is hard work and aggressive marketing style found us the perfect buyer. We had a signed contract with the buyer on the following Saturday (six days after hiring Todd). Words cannot express how impressed we are by Todd and his work. He will not only have our recommendation from this point forward, but he will always have our gratitude for helping our family's home dreams come true.
